Welcome to Haukafell Kindred's Homepage!


We are most excited to have you here! Haukafell kindred is a small Scandinavian-Germanic Heathen tribe located among the central-eastern Berks-Lehigh regions of Pennsylvania. We are going on our third year together as an oathed kindred, though we have been together twice as long as celebrating families. Our first oaths as a kindred were spoken over our Oath Ring together during the Yuletide of 2007. To learn more about our kindred and members, see the About Us portion of our site.

As our website grows, we will continue to add information about Heathenry, a breakdown of some of our lore, history, celebrations, symbology, and general information. We have created an entire area on our website called In the Community, which we have dedicated to community involvement, activities/events, and other kindred's and folks for networking. We're currently building sections of the website dedicated to crafting and daily activities, such as brewing mead, clothing recon, textile work (weaving, herbal dyeing, naalbinding), herbalism, games & entertainment, and so forth. Additionally, we are working on a children's section. Haukafell kindred has always been a family-based kindred, and therefore we have practically become experts in this area! Feel free to stroll around and enjoy. Throughout 2010 we will be updating our site frequently.
