Haukafell's Calendar of Events for 2009
The Folk of Haukafell gather to celebrate the high holy days of the year including the: Charming of the Plow, Ostara, Walpurgisnacht/May Day, Midsummer, Landvaettir, Freyfaxi, Winterfinding, Winternights, Disablot, Idis-Þing, and Mother's Night. During these times our Kin join together to honor our Gods and Goddesses, Ancestors, regional Spirits, and the Community.
Most of our gatherings are held at one of our homes around the Berks-Lehigh areas of central-eastern Pennsylvania. Oftentimes in the warmer months you will find us at a local park, too! Throughout the year we also do our best to host (or attend) other public events such as social moots, study sessions, other Kindreds/Tribes, camping and field trips. There are some months where will not hold an event so that we can pack up and join other weekend celebrations, such as Eplagarthr's Winternights Gathering, or the East Coast Thing.
