Rune Group-Study Nights
Summer is now over, the winds have changed and the leaves are beginning to fall. Our families are unwinding from the ever-busy Summer season and are gearing up for some home Rune study and family focus. We would like to extend an invitation to you, as well.
For our first class, we will try and get everyone on the same page (for those who need some more information). Then we will begin discussing a Rune together. In the time between classes, each one of us will independently study and meditate to on that Rune. And we will bring back anything that we learned as a result of our studies and inspiration. Then we will proceed to the next Rune, and continue through the 24 Runes of the Elder Futhark. Are we going to stop there? No way! This is a never-ending area of learning!
You do not need to be with us from the beginning to join in. Even if we have finished the set of 24, you may join us.
Our classes will meet every other Thursday evening @ 7pm, starting on October 9th, 2008.
NOTE: This class DOES differ from the Rune workshop, also listed under In the Community, because this is an ongoing study group with our Kindred. The Rune workshop is a single workshop where Rebecca is discussing the Runes with those in attendance (usually at festivals, community events, and to the general Pagan community).
